GURGAON GLOBAL CITY- THE FUTURISTIC CITY WITHIN CITY

Developer: Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).

Total area: Over 1,002 acres, spread across Sectors 36, 36B, 37, and 37B in Gurgaon, adjacent to the Dwarka Expressway.

Scope: A "city within a city" featuring residential towers, commercial offices, retail spaces, hospitals, schools, and cultural zones.

Connectivity: Excellent access via the Dwarka Expressway, Pataudi Road, and NH-48. The city will also have its own internal mass rapid transit system.

Completion target: The first phase is expected to be finished by December 2026, while the overall project completion timeline is longer. 

■ Phase-1 Construction in progess - Expected Completion date December 2026

• Construction is underway on the first phase of Gurugram's Global City, a mixed-use township across Sectors 36, 36B, 37, and 37B.

• The initial phase 1 focuses on core infrastructure, including roads, drainage, water pipelines, and a utility tunnel.

■ Phase 1 covers -

☆13 kilometers of internal roads. 
☆ 26-kilometer stormwater drain network. 
☆ 11.96 kilometers of potable water network. 
☆ 12 kilometers of recycled water pipeline. 
☆ Water supply systems, including an 18-acre mass balancing reservoir to provide 350 million liters of water
☆ An experience centre is being developed to attract investments.

• The project aims to establish the area as a central business hub, prioritizing sustainability and a "walk-to-work" concept.

• The Haryana government plans a road connecting the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway to the project.

• HSIIDC plans to auction plots to encourage developer participation and will oversee the project until 2033. The first phase costs ₹940 crore and is expected to be completed by December 2026.
