This is Shadowheart's evil path romance where she becomes a Dark Justiciar after fulfilling her mission by k*lling the Nightsong at the end of Act 2, you can still proceed to romance her until the end of the game, but after the final battle she formally asked to get separated in serve of her lady Shar.
