2023 BMW 330i 0-60mph Acceleration and Sound Mode Comparison

G20 BMW 330i xDrive AWD model, with a 2.0L turbo making 255hp and 295lb-ft

All tests were done by brake torquing, 1st video was done with the Iconic Sounds mode off, then the 2nd video with it on. I did not enjoy the Iconic Sounds on, the tone was too artificial and it was unnecessary to me.

Speedometer is in km/h, so I timed it to 97km/h (60mph). Motor Trend got 5.4 seconds and Car and Driver got 5.2 seconds.

I enjoyed the car's very secure handling and sporty suspension, but steering always felt a little too loose until you turned well into a corner. Engine has more than enough power. Interior design is a major step back from the pre-facelift G20 - stupid little gearshift paddle in the console is not pleasing to use, and the iDrive menus are too complicated. The screens are not well integrated into the overall car design.
