The Greatest Gathering 1825 to 2025

The huge Greatest Gathering event had far too much to see in a day. I saw most of the locomotives but had no time to see the many stalls selling things or look at the model railway show, there were also talks that I would of liked to go to. There has never been anything like as big as this anywhere. The amount of organisation that went into it is staggering and mostly done in the workers own time, as the works still had it's normal work of building trains to do. All credit to the staff for putting on a magnificent display.
