The Internet asked, and we listened—It's Chris Ying's favorite dish on earth. His last-request meal. It's his dad's curry: a version of Macanese (as in, from Macao) Chicken: a roux-thickened coconut curry full of twice-fried potatoes and fried chicken thighs, flavored with ginger and Shaoxing wine. It's Chris's comfort food, which is fitting, since he's feeling a little emotionally battered as he makes it for us. Will the curry do its magic and pick him up? Only one way to find out!
