EP42 Drum Making Diary DW style Twisted Ply, The making of the Twisted Ply Drum Finish

Welcome to Episode 42 of our Drum Making Diary.

This week, jobs I love, messing around with veneer!
The customer wanted a Twisted Ply Zebrano finish, over an Oak Shell.
Its been a while since I've done this, I also didn't have a great deal of Zebrano so on the video you'll see me make a paper template. Im using the same length piece of paper as the veneer I have, so I can check before wasting any Zebrano that I have enough. I'll get it in the press, together with some nice Pippy Oak for the inner face.
