We were looking to stop off at a camp site due to the combination of high temperatures, big fells to climb and the inevitable excess of sweat meant a shower really was a must for us.
I found this site on campsites.co.uk and I have to admit I'm chuffed to bits with the stay, so much so we decided to book another night a couple of days later!
Basic but very adequate facilities but just what you need after a day climbing and walking for a nice refreshing shower, a handy pub next door and a lovely site that's great value for money!
