OLAPLEX was first developed by scientists at The University Of California and patented to use in salons to be added to hair colour/bleach and perms to prevent damage. It was then used in salon to repair sulphur protein bond damage in hair and the rest is history.

There are legal disputes still raging between Olaplex and the big beauty companies, who have tried to mimic the molecule Bisaminol Dipropyl Dimaleate - BADD but, int he meantime, the range continues to grow - so what are the best steps for your hair and the best value for money - AND DOES IT REALLY WORK?
