This is from a radio series called "Focus on Buddhism". One of the first radio programs in Australia on Buddhism aired during the 1980s via 2SER FM in Sydney. Initiated by some of the early pioneers like Kalinga Seneviratne. This recording includes a talk by the late Phra Khantipalo (Laurence Khantipalo Mills) on the topic of Meditation. The series was hosted by the late Irene De Silva and her husband, Guptila De Silva.
We share this recording in memory of our loving friend Irene who passed away on 23 June 2023.
Dhammanet will digitise the remaining programs from this series and share a weekly recording as a tribute to Irene and her contemporary friends who helped promote Buddhism in Australia in the 80s.
