Since 2019, South Central LA-based melodic crust band Lagrimas has been pushing their sound to unexplored decibel levels. From playing backyard shows in the LA punk scene to touring the US, Lagrimas has been working tirelessly to create a sound that merges elements of neocrust, melodic crust punk, emoviolence, skramz, and post-rock into a tsunami of heavy music. Performing songs off their album ‘'A Life of Destruction’ (2024) and their EP 'I'm not strong enough for this' (2025), Lagrimas’ Audiotree Live performance mirrors the chaos of modern life, pairing tempo shifts with emotional crescendos that range from political rage and despair to hopes of collective resistance and redemptive liberation.
