We are back at the Occidental Mine. Known as a profitable old gold and silver mine, we vowed we would make it to the bottom of the 900 foot shaft. We failed. The mine was more prepared for us than we were for it. Now many months later we return with more gear and equipment to attempt another run at it. Did we make it? What did we find? How far did we go?
