🥜 Walnut Halwa Recipe (500 g Walnuts)

Ingredients
Walnuts (akhrot) – 500 g
Ghee – 250–300 g
Sugar – 400–450 g (adjust to taste)
Milk – 500 gm
Khoya (mawa) – 250 g (optional but recommended)
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Chopped almonds & pistachios, raisan cashew– for garnish
&Preparation
Boiled walnuts
Boiled walnuts in hot water
(important for good color).make paste a in mixer paste
Hot milk on side
Cooking Method:
Heat ghee in a pan kadahi pot .
Add walnut paste.
Cook on low–medium flame, stirring continuously.
Roast till ghee starts separating and raw smell disappears
(about 20–25 minutes).
Add milk mixture
Slowly add warm milk-sugar mixture.
Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
Cook till thick
Cook on medium flame till halwa thickens and leaves sides.
Add khoya and mix well.
Finish
Add cardamom powder. Ghee
Cook 5 more minutes till glossy and rich.
Garnish & serve
Garnish with nuts.
