Aero, Aero Expo, Aero Friedrichshafen 2018 - ZLIN Bobber LSA

AERO Friedrichshafen where the general aviation industry is developing. With more than 600 exhibitors from 35 nations, 33,000 visitors and 600 journalists from all over the world, the AERO Friedrichshafen is the world's most important annual meeting place for the community.

AERO scores points with an even more advanced concept in 2018: The E-Flight Expo at the trade fair for general aviation, which takes place from 18 to 21 April 2018 at the exhibition center in Friedrichshafen, ensures a strong focus. Fair premiere celebrates the Flight Simulator Area. The areas of Avionics Avenue, Engine Area, Pilot Training and Aerodrones / UAS Expo once again provide a strong professional offer. In addition, the rotorcraft get strong boost. At AERO, the focus is on a wide variety of aircraft: from gliders to ultralight planes, helicopters and business jets. An increasingly important topic is unmanned drones, which attract more and more attention in aviation alongside the new VTOL (vertical take off and landing) division.

Exhibition boss Klaus Wellmann and project manager Roland Bosch are pleased that at the end of October 2017 the exhibition space for the AERO 2018 is already booked very well. "Global aviation companies are optimistic. In response to the increasing attention paid to electromobility, the E-Flight Expo will continue to grow at the AERO 2018, "says Roland Bosch, assessing the situation ahead of the fair.

The AERO 2018 impresses with its diversity: from the unmanned civilian drone to ultralight, single-engine and multi-engine aircraft with piston engines, helicopters, gyrocopters and turboprops to multi-jet jets, you can see everything. Innovative propulsion systems, future-proof avionics, aviation services and accessories are further focal points of the AERO 2018, as well as offers for pilot training and information on further career opportunities in general aviation.

Several successful special exhibitions will be continued at AERO in the coming year: The E-Flight Expo has long since established itself and, with alternative drive concepts, is once again taking place in its own hall. Corporations like Siemens are specifically involved in the development of their own electric aircraft projects. In addition, first electrically powered taxi drones are being tested in the test. This shows the growing importance of electric flight not only in general aviation in the future.
