Hi
This is a vid on how to check Valve Clearance. On my bike they were within specs so there was no need to adjust, but I have discussed how to properly check them and adjust if needed.
As for interval, I suggest that this be done along with the throttle body cleaning around 15000-20000 kms, as it will save a lot of time and energy, also removing the throttle body gives access to remove the head cover easily.
