LHZ Installation Into Fender Jazz Deluxe

This video is a long walk-thru of the process of upgrading a American Fender Jazz Deluxe 5 String bass from the EMG BTS to the LHZ-03 preamp. This is NOT a typical installation because it as a custom modification to use a 2PDT bypass switch. This allows the LHZ preamp to be bypassed for those times where I want just the un-EQ'd pickup outputs.

There is also a good bit of info on how the stereo output jack TRS connectors are wired and serve as a power switch for the bass. If you just want to skip ahead to the Before and After test, you'll find that at the end!
