Mr. Crocker is such a complex character, especially when we take in the entire arc of his character across the series... Well... most of the series. When this show was in it's early years, it almost felt like the entire story about Mr. Crocker and his life-ruining fairy obsession had been told. They filled in some of the blanks pretty early on and it felt like that was it... However, over the years, subtle hints would be dropped that would indicate something much darker was going on.
