In this video I will be showing you how I make hanging kitchen towels. First lay down the tea towel right side down and fold the top half down, then the bottom half up. Next turn the towel over and place the pot holder down right side down, in the center of the tea towel. So that now the right sides of the tea towel and pot holder are facing each other and pin them together. Sew a straight line down the center using a sewing machine or by hand. Remove pins and pull pot holder up and the tea towel down, fold over the hook of the pot holder to see where it lines up on the other side of the pot holder, that is were you sew on the button. You have now made yourself a hanging kitchen towel that can be hung on the handle of your oven or fridge!!!
Supplies needed:
Tea towel in your choice of colour and pattern
Pot holder in your choice of colour and pattern
Buttons that coordinate with tea towel and pot holder
Thread and needle
Sewing machine ( optional, can be sewn by hand)
