Junior Walker, born Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr. on June 14th 1931.
In the 1950's with musical friends he formed a band known as the 'Rhythm Rockers'. In 1961 the group was spotted by Johnny Bristol, introduced to Harvey Fuqua and signed to his label. Whilst recording for the Harvey label the band changed their name to Junior Walker & the All Stars.
When Fuqua's company was acquired by a certain Mr. Berry Gordy, Jr. Walker & The All Stars came under the Motown Records umbrella, recording for their 'Soul' label. Jr. Walker died on November 23rd 1995.
This song is the 1974 flip side of 'Gotta Hold On To This Feeling'.
Jr. Walker was one of Roger Eagles' favorite performers.
