The new Tadano AC 5.250L-2 all -terrain crane

Tadano's new AC 5.250L-2 all terrain crane is equipped with a 79-m-long main boom. The maximum system length of 109 m makes this compact, five-axle machine an ideal choice for urban applications, for example for lifting air conditioning units over obstructions onto tall buildings. It is also suitable for the assembly of large tower cranes. All available main boom extensions from 5.8 to 30 m are self-erecting.

“Our AC 5.250L-2 is also top of the class when it comes to load moment, which at up to 736 mt is one of the best on the market,” said Tadano project manager Peter Kleinhans. This high load moment is achieved with a working radius of 7 m, a 13.5-m-long main boom and a load weight of 105.2 t. In addition, Tadano offers an optional heavy-lift attachment for even heavier loads up to 138.7 t on the short boom with additional sheaves.
