Donald Trump has stated that Zelensky is the reason why the negotiations in Ukraine have failed to produce a tangible result. He then stated that he will probably meet Zelensky in Davos as both of them will attend the World Economic Forum. Germany’s Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil has stated that the EU-US relationship is disintegrating and that the main reason for this is Donald Trump’s Greenland rhetoric. Ursula von Der Leyen has stated that the use of immobilised Russian assets still remains on the EU agenda and she has stressed that Ukraine won’t have to pay the 90 billion euro loan back until Russia pays reparations to Ukraine.
