★ルノー 8 ゴルディーニ 1968年式に関して
ベースとなるルノー8は1962年にデビューした小型セダンで、コンパクトな4ドアボディにリアエンジン・リア駆動（RR）の特異なレイアウトに、魔術師の異名を持つフランスの著名なエンジニア「アメデ・ゴルディーニ」の手が加えられたのがルノー 8 ゴルディーニである。

ダブルヘッドライトを備えたフロントマスクに、強化されたサスペンション（リアダンパー左右各2本）やディスクブレーキを装備し、車重850kg程度の軽量ボディとクロスレシオの5MTと組み合わせることで、ツーリングカーレースやラリーで活躍した。

特にツール・ド・コルスなどのラリーイベントで数々の勝利を収め、“フレンチ・ラリーレジェンド”としての地位を確立した。

後期型のR1135は1255ccの直列4気筒OHVエンジンが搭載され、最高出力は90.5 ps（66.5 kw）、最大トルク117Nmを発揮し、0-100km/h加速10.7秒、最高速度175km/hという、当時の小型セダンとしては驚異的なパフォーマンスを実現した。

The base model was the Renault 8, a compact sedan that debuted in 1962. The Renault 8 Gordini was a compact four-door car with a unique rear-engine, rear-wheel drive (RR) layout, which was further enhanced by renowned French engineer Amédée Gordini, nicknamed the "Magician."

The car's front fascia featured double headlights, a reinforced suspension (two rear dampers on each side), and disc brakes. Combined with its lightweight body weighing around 850 kg and a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission, it excelled in touring car races and rallies.

It achieved numerous victories, particularly in rally events like the Tour de Corse, establishing it as a "French rally legend."

The later model R1135 was equipped with a 1255cc inline 4-cylinder OHV engine that produced a maximum output of 90.5 ps (66.5 kW) and a maximum torque of 117 Nm, achieving incredible performance for a compact sedan at the time, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h.
