We spent a handful of days in Tikehau, Tuamotu and it wasn’t even close to long enough. I wish we had time to stay for a couple weeks. The underwater life is incredible, and we found ourselves SCUBA or freediving daily. We’d say hello to our Manta ray friends at Manta Island then we’d hop over to the pass for super clear water and huge schools of fish.
We originally bought a sailboat to get to remote islands just like these…and man it feels good to experience such a special place.
