Chichibu Distillery Ichiro's Malt On the Way 2024 will be released in July 2024. It was first served to the public at the Whisky Festival 2024 in Osaka on 29 June 2024. Mac got a chance to try it and review it at the festival itself!

This fourth edition of the On the Way series celebrates Chichibu's dedication to traditional floor malting. This whisky is a blend of 65 cases aged 9-15 years, each contributing to a complex flavour profile that includes notes of vanilla, white peach, and hay! It’s bottled at 54% ABV with no chill filtering and with natural colour.
