Ep 7: Bolstering Public Governance for Inclusive Development of Nepal

In the 7th Episode of Podspective by Daayitwa Abhiyaan, we had a conversation with Dr. Sucheta Pyakuryal, Governance Director of IIDS. Throughout our discussion, we explored the historical context and transformative changes in Nepal's political landscape. Dr. Pyakuryal shed light on the status of the Bureaucratic system in Nepal. We also discussed the positive transformation brought by Federalism in the country and challenges including the need to balance power between federal and sub-federal tiers of government.


Additionally, she highlighted the complexities of political party dynamics, which have contributed to struggles and shortcomings in the nation's political and economic progress.
