The official lore book Master Works sheds extra light on what happened during this lost period. From Zelda’s overwhelming guilt after the Calamity, to her uncertain journey across a devastated kingdom alongside Link, this book explores what the people of Hyrule thought of Zelda after she returned with Link.

She helped rebuild villages. She met the people. But deep down, she still questioned whether it was even right for her to lead again.
This video delves into those unseen moments and what they reveal about Zelda’s struggle to move forward after everything was “over.”
