A must know about Kalinga's latest tourism campaign...
The province is looking to attract more visitors with the launch of a tourism promotions campaign titled ❝𝐿𝓊𝓂𝒾𝓃-𝒶𝓌𝒶 𝒦𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔𝒶❞.
Funded by the Provincial Government in partnership with the Municipal and City Local Government Units, the campaign was launched during the Kapehan sa Kapitolyo Meeting yesterday, November 6, 2023. In a statement, Kalinga Provincial Governor, James S. Edduba, said that the marketing effort is focused on "showcasing the Kalinga people, culture, nature and adventure," which included the staging of the "Awong Chi Gangsa, Agtu'n Chi Banga" (The Call of a Thousand Gongs, The Dance of a Thousand Pots) catapulting Kalinga in the Guinness World Records.
Also showcased are the province's unique travel assets such as the indigenous food, living traditions, competent tourism facilities as well as outdoor experiences.
"Lumin-awa" is an indigenous term denoting harmony, development, and a better life rooted in the Kalinga Core Values of Paniyaw, Ngilin and Bain which encompasses the relationship of Man to God, to nature and to his fellowmen.
Indeed, 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓚𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓪 𝓳𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓮𝔂 𝓫𝓮𝓰𝓲𝓷s 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓪 𝓬𝓾𝓹 𝓸𝓯 𝓬𝓸𝓯𝓯𝓮𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓬𝓵𝓾𝓭𝓮𝓼 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓯𝓮𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓯 𝓫𝓮𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓱𝓸𝓶𝓮. .....
