August 2024 Boat Shop Update—Completing a Wooden Boat, Oar Making, Museum Member Party Coming Up

A student-built wooden boat is completed and leaves the shop at the start of this one, and two more are due to be delivered to Governor's Academy as they start their rowing program. In this video we get to meet Molly MacInnis, who was mentioned in the last video as one of the students on the committee at Maine Maritime Academy who made it possible for Graham to travel to the arctic. She was a boatbuilding apprentice here at the shop, and we're proud to have her on staff when she's not driving big boats down in the Gulf of Mexico.
