Lazy Weekend Orchid Repotting: Easy Tips to Repot Your Phalaenopsis Orchids!

In today’s video I’ll be repotting two of my phalaenopsis orchids. My P. Schilleriana and a hybrid of it the P. Jiaho’s Pink girl. I’ll be potting them up in sphagnum moss, and I’ll discuss how to use it and when to add other materials to make it more airy.

The goal of this video is to make sure you feel confident in repotting your phalaenopsis orchids, especially if you grow indoors and have similar conditions to me.

Growing Conditions & Climate:
Almost all orchids grown indoors
Eastern Exposures (4-5 hours direct early morning sun) & LED Grow Lights
Most orchids grow under the lights
Only cool growers & orchids in bloom grow under my Eastern facing windows
Grow space doesn’t get any additional sunlight other than the LED’s
Zone 7a - Humid Subtropical
