The ensemble of the Estonian National Opera performs the Finale of Act 2 ("Brüderlein und Schwesterlein") from the operetta by Johann Strauss "Die Fledermaus". The orchestra is conducted by maestro ERI KLAS (1939-2016) and the soloists include HENDRIK KRUMM (tenor, 1934-1989), MARGARITA VOITES (coloratura soprano, 1936-2024), IVO KUUSK (tenor, 1937-2023), ANU KAAL (soprano, born in 1940), URVE TAUTS (mezzosoprano, born in 1935), VOLDEMAR KUSLAP (baritone, born in 1937), ARVO LAID (baritone, 1945-1993), KATRIN KARISMA (soprano, born in 1947), HANS MIILBERG (baritone, 1945-2020), VÄINO PUURA (baritone, born in 1951), SIRJE PUURA (soprano, born in 1949), ENDEL PÄRN (1914-1990), MAARJA HAAMER (soprano, 1938-2021), TIIT TRALLA (tenor, born in 1937) and others. The concentration of outstanding singers in the 1970s and 1980s has given reason to consider this period as the Golden Era of the Estonian Opera.
