Video about how to use old (salvaged) electronic components in new circuits. By the way: in this video only Shottkey diodes and/or Power MOSFETS and/or Bipolar power transistors are showed, but of course many other electronic components can be saved and soldered-out.
The demo circuit in this video to which it is illustrated is a regulator that charges a 24 Volt 75 aH battery out of a solar panel that gives 48 Volt at DC 8 Ampère max via bridged 3 MOSFETS + 2 Shottkey diodes.
Published in earlier video’s.
e.g. here • Easy Solar panel charge controller for 24 ...
Info: on 7.15-7.16 in the video the diodes are tested on their functionality by reversing the probes (+ and -) of the Ohms meter with that 3 Volt battery inside. An Ohms meter with a 1,2 V battery inside could not give a proper reading because of the barrier voltages of the diodes under test.
Many electronic component scan be “soldered out”, capacitors, resistors, LED’s, temp. and light dependent components (comp. mouse: IR diode + IR receiver diode), ceramic isolation components, cooling plates, heatsinks, wiring, nuts and bolts, metal pieces (steel-aluminum), metal hoods and boxes, isolation materials, potentiometers with knobs, etc.
Always check electric/electronic components and test them before you store them to be re-used.

My books about electronics are available via the website from “Lulu”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

My books are also available via Barnes and Noble and via Amazon.
Regarding all my video’s: I constantly keep them actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. That is the source, and search there. When my video’s are reproduced or re-edited on other websites/channels you can not (!) be sure about the original content (=really working electronics) and important adaptations to the circuits.
Be aware of that, I saw on the internet my circuits reproduced in a poor or even not proper way. I can not help that, sorry. Upload 14 May 2019.
