ABS means anti lock breaking system, which is use to avoid skidding during hard braking on all types of surface. ABS is equipped on a bike with single channel and dual channel.
In single channel ABS the ABS unit is only equipped on front wheels. Now a days this type of ABS system is used in commuter bikes which are around 150cc and also used on mopeds.
Dual channel ABS is equipped on both wheels of the bike. This type of system is usually used on higher capacity bikes for additional safety.
Dual channel ABS is more effective when compared to single channel ABS.
