Veteran train TGOJ X21-9, Upplands Väsby - Tumba

Filmed on the 8th of March 2025. During this day Föreningen Sörmlands Veteranjärnväg (FSVJ) arranged a trip with TGOJ X21-9, between Upplands Väsby and Tumba. The trip was in memory of the year 2001 when X20 and X21 trains were in extra service for SL between Upplands Väsby and Tumba.

Originally these trains were manufactured as X20 (2 middle carriages) and X21 (no middle cars). These were manufactured by Hilding Carlsson between 1956 and 1959. With time some trains were renovated into X22 (larger 1 class section) and X23 (1 middle carriage). All variants have a top speed of 105 km/h.

Come along in the video as we film our trip in TGOJ X21-9 from Stockholm Central station to Upplands Väsby, and back. Thereafter we film the departure to Tumba, and its final arrival back to Stockholm Central station.
