I was inspired by the plaid charger plates that I had purchased a couple years back, and I wanted to use them this year but in a more traditional Christmas way. I also had a candle form that I bought last year and wanted to use it for my table. I love being able to use battery operated candles to add that romantic magical Christmas glow that candles give off, without the danger or hassle of lighting real ones.
With Ralph Lauren trending this year, I was inspired by elements, such as the tartan plaid and the color palettes that are notorious with Ralph Lauren. I wanted timeless elegance and with the handmade centerpiece I made, mixed along side the beautiful tree plates and the tartan charger, it truly curated the Traditional Christmas theme I was striving for.
