Testing an O.S. .91SZH-PS using muffler pressure only to pressurize fuel system and bypassing back plate pump. Prop is a Master Airscrew 14X8. Fuel is Byron's 10% nitro airplane fuel. RPM not measured as I was looking only for idle, transition, and top end characteristics only. Audio monologue was a total wash. The engine's performance without pump was equivalent to performance with the pump. Slight needle changes only. The engine ran very cool at all times, likely due to cooling prop blast and rich mixture settings.
