"French people speak too fast, I can't understand them". Do you have this feeling? Do you think it's too difficult to understand native French speakers because it seems they speak too fast. Well, you're not 100% wrong. It's true that we speak fast but that's because we often drop letters or syllables, use informal vocabulary, and that makes you feel we speak with a rhythm that sounds super fast. It’s very different from what you learn in certain textbooks!

But don't worry, I’ll explain exactly why French sounds so fast and what we do when we speak that makes it harder to understand. I'll explain different speaking phenomena in French that you'll help you understand. In a nutshell, drop the E, shorten words, use slangs and the pronoun ON. Watch the video for more details...
