Finishing a Simeon England Cast Tomahawk Part 1

After attending the School of the Longhunter this past April, I picked up this cast steel tomahawk head from Simeon England. Using an aggressive mill bastard file and a pink Sharpie, I remove the casting gates/sprues and smooth the rough cast lines from the 4140 steel tomahawk head. Prior to doing the filing, I'd rough fitted a Bois D' Arc handle picked up from a scrap pile at the last Oklahoma Jamboree (OJAM). Next in the process is to heat treat the blade following the instructional video that Simeon just recently posted on his Youtube channel and then securing the handle to the head. Heat Treating and hafting will be in the next installment.
