Probably something extremely basic for even slightly experienced padel players, but it seems my body has finally learnt (sometimes) to instinctively move away from the side glass when the ball goes into the corner during a serve. Previously I’m just making use of tennis skills to always take difficult serves as a half volley.
Watching this vid, I realise many of us are a bit too casual when the lob goes to the back glass. Ryan takes advantage of this well and does a nice turning low and flat shot which catches many of us off guard. Will need to keep in mind to be on my toes and racket up, ready for this.
