GTA 6 Trailer 2 but it's in 2006

Hey everyone, I’m back with my second GTA 6 concept video! This time imagining what the launch of Trailer 2 might’ve looked like back in 2006. As a longtime Grand Theft Auto fan, I couldn’t help but revisit the idea, especially with all the buzz surrounding the latest trailer.

Rather than just filming the trailer in a retro style, I wanted to build a full story around the hype. This includes how news segments and fans might have reacted, what people would have speculated, and how the internet would have looked during that time. Since the visuals in Trailer 2 are far too realistic for 2006, I added a humorous twist by blending in community theories and combining several of my past concept themes into one cohesive piece.

I also redesigned the ChatGPT layout and built an original Rockstar inspired website to fit the narrative more authentically. Every asset in this video was created by me, Faded Vault, without any visual AI tools. The footage was filmed using a camcorder to give it that genuine mid 2000s feel.
