Almost exactly one year ago, Hoka released a new super shoe that, while a heavy outlier as far as mass, proved to be an extremely fun top end shoe for many runners. That shoe was the Cielo X 1. Now, the awkwardly named update--the Cielo X 1 2.0--is on the market, and it comes with a competitive light weight. Does it retain the same fun factor as the original? See what I think as I compare it to some of the other top end super shoes.
