Video compiled from 3 flights - the first 2 FPV flights, and a follow-up LOS flight to free-up my observer to take a ground to air video. Thanks to Tom Connors who, as so often before, acted as competent observer for the FPV flights and videocam operator for the LOS flight.
Durafly F2A with a scratch built cockpit using principally plasticard, a bit of balsa and a printer for the dials. The gunsight is a 3d print by Andrew Meade who sells on eBay as "printedpartsfactory" - can't recommend him highly enough - outstanding quality and good prices. The camera is a RunCam Split 3 Nano at 60FPS 1080p. The P&T unit is home built from fibre board components, the pan servo is a Turnigy 180 with limits increased via OpenSource programming in the FrSky TX, giving about 260 degrees panning. The VTX is a Tramp with a stubby antenna.
Sounds are dubbed from a miscellany of YouTube clips of planes with a Wright Cyclone 1820 R engine - recorded both inside and outside the cockpit. The closest I could get to using actual Buffalo sounds since no real ones are still airworthy.
