There are very few exceptionally rot resistant woods in the world, but Cedar is one of them... This is why we utilize Cedar to an extreme degree in our decks and fences. In this video, I demonstrate the use of 20+ year old Cedar rail in the foundation of our most recent bow-building adventure. Then we're going to apply the Bamboo Back and Belly build technique to one of the most iconic American bow designs - The Howard Hill style longbow.
