A heart-level look at tawakkul (reliance on Allah): who are the 70,000 (and more) who will enter Jannah without any reckoning, and how deep reliance transforms fear, risk and planning in a believer’s life.
We unpack the hadith of the 70,000 who don’t request ruqyah, don’t cauterise, don’t follow omens, and truly rely on their Lord, then define tawakkul as a settled confidence in what Allah owns and controls, while giving up hope in people’s hands and still taking all halal means.
We show when reliance is especially needed (leaving home, financial stress, being abandoned, turning away from harmful people, battling sins, receiving bad news) and what Allah grants its people: His love, victory over enemies and shayṭān, serenity instead of anxiety, courage in trials, doors of provision and cure, and ultimately elevated rooms in Jannah.
We then outline how to build real tawakkul today: deeply knowing Allah’s names, reflecting on Qur’anic verses about His control and provision, taking means without slipping into ḥarām, abandoning “trust in sin” businesses like alcohol and riba, staying busy in beneficial work, and making du‘ā’ that Allah never leaves you to yourself even for the blink of an eye.
