Wijngaard Aan de Breede Beek is situated on Slichtenhorst estate in the middle of The Netherlands. Winemaker Henk Breugem planted in 2003 the first acres with hybrid type grape varieties, cultivated at Geisenheim Agricultural University in Germany. These are all varieties with increased resistance to downy mildew that make sustainable winegrowing in The Netherlands possible and achieve good wines as well. Good wine from The Netherlands that is!
