I’m going to make mulberry syrup. Our land is blessed with generous mulberry trees, like kind old souls standing tall, offering shade and sweetness.
In this season, people in the village make syrup from these fruits. And alongside it, I’ll be preparing sesame paste a humble, nourishing delight
that never spoils, never tires the tongue, always warm, always comforting… like love itself.
