GEEZ THIS TOOK LONG ENOUGH TO GET IT OUT!

Fun Fact: I actually had Shiny Smily Story ready to record at least 2 months back. But my piano broke and it really wasn't worth the frustration to make it work when i had 0 access to anything that could replace/fix it. So I decided to make the other BGM tutorials first.

THENNNN, when I got my new piano, guess what broke this time:

My camera (KUSA)

It seemed that it kinda reached it's shutter limit, and it wouldn't go into video mode. Single shot mode without going to live preview was still OK, but the shop guys and my camera savvy friend Jack mentioned it was high time to change it, as the one i was using was already AT LEAST 10 years.

So by the time i got those equipment ready (camera, instrument and interface), it was time for me to begin work, and it will take at least 2-3 weeks for a SINGLE piece of video... =(

Talk about a drastic change in schedule.

But nonetheless, i still make time to practice/make sheets and edit these videos, as it's already so ingrained into my lifestyle, and it's a self-pledge to keep this up no matter what situation work calls for.

No compromise. Because this is my discipline, and my ASACOCOOoOOOOooOooooOO

OK enoguh about that! On to the MAIN description!!

The video should be more fluid compared to any of my previous Live playing videos, as this cam im using allows for 50 fps (or 60?) and in FULL HD!

As for the sound/audio, I'm using the interface to offload some processing from my comp, but I'll need some feedback regarding the volume of the video. The interface offers a really GREAT balance, and there's no longer the Sharp snappy sound of the notes when i play with it. So from my side, it sounds really gentle and doesn't sound like Haachama's shrill shrieks.

But do let me know what the audio sounds like, and if I should lower the volume when I'm editing in the future.

This piece follows closely to the original, except for certain areas.

1. The first being a change in melodic sequence before the 2nd chorus. This isn't part of the sheets, but I had thought to add in some spice to make the piece more engaging and instead of just following the original piece. It's a unique part of the song that also tells abit of the different experiences I've had till now. In short, I attempted to tell about no matter how things change, I will always return back to where I came from...

And since it coincides with what is considered a 'fantasy' part of the song, what more appropriate than to include a snapshot of the 3rd Gen Hololive Fantasy troop =D

2. As the piece approaches the final chorus, a more toned down version is played and I made this part to probably just slow down the pace to prepare for the key change in the final part of the chorus. And also perhaps to signify Yagoo's dreams of establishing an idol agency? www

So those are the parts that I've made to tell abit of my time with Hololive, and honestly, its one of the best source of laughter and therapy when I was doing my thesis and preparing for Finals, and it still works like a charm today.

Shiny Smily Story served as the turning point for me on my thoughts on Hololive, and it when it was released, i just knew then:

Hololive IS an I̶D̶O̶L̶ entertainment agency~

PS: Hololive seems to be going through a bit of a challenge at the moment, and I really hope that everyone there will be Daijobu~ Waiting patiently for Mio Mama's return~~
