愛知県北部の紅葉名所3ヶ所 ( 奥矢作湖 / 岩屋堂公園 / 段戸裏谷原生林 ) をご紹介します。
奥矢作湖（おくやはぎこ）は、愛知県豊田市と岐阜県恵那市にまたがる人造湖で、湖畔は「愛知高原国定公園」に指定されています。矢作川の最上流部に位置する矢作ダムによって形成された湖で、春は桜名所として、秋は紅葉名所として知られます。

いくつか湖畔公園や駐車スペースも整備されており、湖畔の自然を満喫できるようになっています。湖にはブラックバスやヘラブナなどが棲息しており、バス釣りを楽しむ釣り客も多く訪れるほか、ツーリングの休憩スポットとしてライダーにも人気です。

岩屋堂公園（いわやどうこうえん）は、愛知県瀬戸市にある自然公園で、「日本紅葉の名所100選」に選定されています。鳥原川の渓谷沿いに整備された公園で、川に沿って売店や茶屋が建ち並ぶ遊歩道があり、途中にはいくつか橋が架かっており、景色の良いビューポイントとなっています。

天然の大きな岩のほこら「岩屋堂」と暁明ヶ滝も見所です。また、上流には落差約17mの「瀬戸大滝」がかかっており、散策コースのハイライトとなっています。


段戸裏谷原生林（だんどうらだにげんせいりん）きららの森は、愛知県北西部にある森林公園で、一帯は「愛知高原国定公園」に指定されています。段戸川の源流域として「水源の森百選」にも選定されており、樹齢200年を超えるブナの巨木を中心とする天然林があり、多くの野鳥や湿原植物が見られ、学術的にも貴重な森です。

ブナの原生林が大地にしみ込んだ雨水を大量に保つことから、段戸裏谷原生林は別名“緑のダム”とも呼ばれています。
段戸湖ではルアー・フライフィッシングが楽しめ、週末を中心に多くの釣り客も訪れるスポットです。

In this video, I would like to introduce three famous places for viewing autumn leaves in northern Aichi Prefecture ( Lake Okuyahagiko, Iwayado Park, and Dando Uradani Primeval Forest ).

Lake Okuyahagiko is an artificial lake straddling Toyota City in Aichi Prefecture and Ena City in Gifu Prefecture, and its shores are designated as Aichi Highland National Park. The lake was formed by the Yahagi Dam located at the uppermost reaches of the Yahagi River, and is known as a famous cherry blossom spot in spring and autumnal leaves spot in autumn.

Several lakeside parks and parking spaces have been established so that visitors can enjoy the nature of the lakeside. The lake is home to black bass and elasmobranchs, and is visited by many fishermen who enjoy bass fishing, and is also popular among riders as a resting spot for touring.


Iwayado Park is a nature park in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Places to View Autumn Leaves in Japan". The park is located along the ravine of the Toribara River, with a promenade lined with stores and teahouses along the river, and several bridges along the way that provide scenic viewpoints.

The Iwayado, a large natural rock structure, and the Gyomyo-ga-taki waterfall are also worth seeing. The Seto Otaki Waterfall, with a drop of about 17 meters, is the highlight of the walking course.


Dando Uradani Primeval Forest "Kirara Forest" is a forest park in the northwestern part of Aichi Prefecture, and the whole area is designated as Aichi Plateau National Park.

As the headwaters of the Dando River, it has been selected as one of the "100 Best Forests of the Water Source." There is a natural forest with giant beech trees over 200 years old, and many wild birds and wetland plants can be seen, making it a valuable forest for academic purposes.

The beech forest retains a large amount of rainwater that seeps into the ground, and the Dando Ura-dani Primeval Forest is also called a "green dam".
Lake Dando is a popular spot for lure and fly fishing, and is visited by many fishermen mainly on weekends.
