Called to Significance, Luke 5:1-11, January 10, 2021, Sunday school lesson

Jesus is approached by a multitude of people by the Sea of Galilee, it was so many of them until they began to press upon Him to hear the word of God. He notices a couple of fishing boats emptied because the owners were washing their nets.

Jesus instructs Simon Peter, the owner of one of the boats to pull out a little from the shore, and He sat to teach the people, when He finished, He instructed Simon to launch out into the the deep for a draught.

Simon Peter told Jesus that they had toiled all the night but caught nothing, Yet He said, Nevertheless at your word I will do it. Simon and his team launched out into the deep and a miracle happened, they had so many fish until they had to get help. They and the help boats were so full, they almost sank, and the nets were braking. Simon begged Jesus to leave, because Simon was a sinful man.
