Linn Fløysvik clinched the 2023 FIA European Drag Racing Championship in Top Methanol at the European Finals by defeating Sandro Bellio in the semi-finals. Johnny Oksa won the Top Methanol event.
Despite scorching conditions, the day was packed with racing action at Santa Pod Raceway for the fifth and final round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. Torrential rain briefly halted proceedings at 2 PM, but the track crew's efforts ensured racing resumed smoothly at 7 PM, concluding all eliminations by 9 PM.
The championship was decided in the semi-finals. Linn Fløysvik's victory over Sandro Bellio secured her first FIA European Championship. Meanwhile, Johnny Oksa, the number two qualifier, secured his second consecutive victory after overcoming traction issues to win the final. Bellio finished second overall, while Oksa claimed third with his Euro Finals win.
