The Cumbres And Toltec | A NMHR Love Letter

The Cumbres and Toltec is one of the first and for a while the only steam preservation railroad in New Mexico. For decades the 64 miles of narrow gauge line held the minds of the people of New Mexico and was the stepping stones for another preservation organization in the state.

In this video experience the journey of 3 of our volunteers who all got their love of steam from the little engines in big country. Learn about the beginning of the C&TS and it's Friends and what that meant for a group of people in Albuquerque.
