রেমিট্যান্সের বিপরীতে প্রণোদনার অর্থ ব্যাংকগুলোকে দিতে পারছে না সরকার। পাঁচ মাসের বেশি সময় ধরে বকেয়া থাকা অর্থের পরিমাণ প্রায় ৪ হাজার কোটি টাকা। এর মধ্যে শুধু ইসলামী ব্যাংকের পাওনা প্রায় ১২ শো কোটি টাকা। ব্যাংকারদের আশঙ্কা, দীর্ঘ সময় এ অর্থ সরকারের কাছে আটকে থাকলে তারল্য সংকটে পড়বে ব্যাংকগুলো।

The government is unable to pay the banks the incentive money against remittances. The amount of money that has been outstanding for more than five months is about 4,000 crore taka. Of this, Islami Bank alone owes about 1.2 billion taka. Bankers fear that if this money is stuck with the government for a long time, the banks will face a liquidity crisis.
